Decorate the Biscuits

STEP 1

Roll out the white icing to about 4mm in thickness, using the silicone rolling pin. Cut out 9 circles to cover your cookies. Do two or three at a time, so the icing doesn’t dry out and crack.

STEP 2

Stick the icing circles to the top of the cookies using a little water on a paintbrush or your finger, dab directly on to the biscuit. Secure by gently sweeping the pad of your index finger over the surface in a circular motion. Continue until all your cookies are covered.

STEP 3

Let the icing harden. You can speed up this process by putting the biscuits in an oven at 50˚C/ 122˚Fand leaving the door open a little. Keep checking to ensure they do not burn and after about 8 minutes take them out and wait for them to cool completely.

Now for the fun part! Use the edible ink pens to design your biscuits and create super unique designs just for your Dad.
