How to explain thIS experiment to your children

Water vapour rises into the air, evaporation, and cools down, condensation. This cooling causes the water vapour to form water droplets. The droplets stick together and form a cloud. When the droplets get too heavy the cloud can no longer hold on to them, they come though the cloud and it starts to rain, precipitation. Shaving foam is the cloud, the water is the air and the food colouring is the rain.
